Fiat plans to bring a four-door version of the small 500 car to the U.S. sometime after introducing it in Europe later next year.
Automotive New s reported Monday that the four-door version of the car is code-named LO. It will be classified as a small minivan in Europe because it has a hatchback and a high roof:
Fiat plans to bring the 500 to the U.S., but has not decided how many Chrysler dealerships will sell the car. A convertible version is expected to reach the U.S. in 2011.
